Writing Hiatus

Sometimes life gets in the way of writing.
It’s hard not write, but a first grandchild that lives quite some distance away, takes precedent. You can not get that time back. Flight time, helping where one can, setting up trips, etc. tends to occupy one’s time and mind.

I never stop reading.
I’m an intense reader. I probably get more complaints from my family that I have Airpods in my ears listening to audiobooks or podcasts or have a book in my hands, than anything else. But we are always exchanging who is reading what and I can proudly report that my (now) toddler grandchild is an avid book collector and reader. He has had his own bookcase that he pulls books out of since he was born. Now that is creating a reader.
